A few years ago, I made my way to Japan (for the second time) and realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life traveling the world and generally living the life of an anthropologist, writer, and researcher.

  I tend to describe myself as an Anthropologist Geek Girl who dabbles in photography, film, blogging, social media, networking, communications, dance and web design. I have a B.A. in Anthropology and am currently working on a Masters Degree. One of my passions is studying youth culture, and my special interests include youth cosplay culture in Japan and the movement of cosplay to the US and other parts of the world. In my free time (not that I have much of it!) I like to dance, hang out with friends, play video games, watch movies and anime, go to conventions and events and, of course, cosplay!
